Doll

This picture isn't great, but here is a doll I made for Chloe. I saw a girl make them on Martha Stewart. It was super easy and a great keepsake Chloe can keep.

Coleman's room

Here are a few pictures of Coleman's room. I know it looks bare, but it really does look put together in real life. We need to do a little organizing with the changing table. I am sure you can see that we have a sports theme going.

Who would have thought?

I never thought in my life that I would be so excited to receive a potty in the mail. I have been wanting this so badly for Chloe. I am such a germaphobe (sp?) that I hate public restrooms. When I was a kid I would never go in them, so the thought of me taking my precious girl in one totally sicks me out! So months and months ago I saw Elizabeth from the View (a show I actually hate) talk about this traveling potty. I had it in the back of my mind that I wanted it when Chloe was ready. Now she is ready and so bye-bye public restrooms!!!! Let's hope it works as well I expect. I will let you all know!

Hold On

Chloe has started telling us "Hold on" when we ask her to do something. It really cracks me up, but I have to keep that inside as I tell her she is not allowed to tell me to hold on. Today as we were going to the doctor for my weekly check-up, she was in the backseat of the car saying "hold on". I asked her who she was talking to, she said daddy (who was not in the car). I said remember we don't tell mommy or daddy "hold on". She held her hand up in an inquisitive manner that reminded me of my ASL college classes and said "Why not?" It was really funny. She has such expression in her voice and is such a chatterbox. She also loves to tell everyone (male or female) "no, mam". I have to tell her that she is not allowed to say this either b/c she is trying to tell people what to do. She is little Miss Disciplinarian. On a side note, I am only dialated to a 2, so looks like I still have a little while longer. I am hoping for April 6th! We shall see.

Can't Believe It

Yeah, today was our first Sunday that we did not wear a diaper to church! Last week we went to the zoo for several hours and no diaper. Chloe is doing so great at the whole potty training thing. I hope it keeps up!

The Curse of the Snow

Okay this is the second time that Chloe has played in the snow in her lifetime (see earlier posts). The first time was when she was an infant and we bundled her up and took her outside. Well, my memory stick died (I am not sure how that happens) and all my pictures were lost. Well, I did manage to take some with Cole's phone of the last snow, but the ones on my camera are forever gone. I also had a ton of other great pics, too. I lost my camera and I have decided it is b/c of the snow!

Here are two pictures I love of Chloe. The first is when she was sick. Chloe has never been one to sleep in our arms. We trained her to always fall asleep in her bed, which makes it easier to go to bed. BUT we do miss these sweet holding opportunities. Chloe had a little bug, and fell asleep in her daddy's arms. The other pic is us trying to get her lots of fluids, she had lots of choices of drinks and decided to drink them simultaneously. What a cute and funny girl!

Basketball Game

I was hosting a baby shower at our house last night, so Cole and Chloe had some daddy/daughter time. He took her to the Summit conference final game (ORU vs. ?). I had a feeling it would be a disaster, b/c Chloe just does not sit still. He said that the first half the cheering scared her a little, so she stayed in his lap and watched the game. After that she quickly became her usual busy girl self and enjoyed playing. Here she is laying on the floor drawing. I have to tell myself that the germs on the floor are not going to kill her. I am not sure if you all know what a germophobe (sp?) I am???

Hugs

Chloe loves to hug Avery. Sometimes she is a little to forceful with her hugs and knocks Avery down. What BFFs!

Snow

Well we got a little snow last night. I figured we better go play in it early before it all melts. Chloe loved it!!! She did not like actually touching the snow with her bare hands though.

Little Big Girl

Yesterday, Chloe wanted to wear her rainboots. So, I told her she could put them on all by herself b/c she is a big girl. She told me, "No, Mommy. I am a little, big girl. I thought that was pretty funny. Here is a pic from this morning. Yes, George has one of Chloe's pacis in his mouth, too.

Avery's Party

Chloe's BFF turned two today. These pics aren't the best, but they are all I took. She had a cowgirl party, and it was so cute!
