Swimming

We went to the Houston's house to go swimming on Sunday night. They have the best pool! Chloe was not quite as fearless as Sam was in the pool. It was so cute when they were both lounging on the raft.

Blackberry Picking

We went to pick blackberries with our church playgroup. It was so much fun. Chloe did a really good job. She especially loved sampling all of her loot. At the end all the kids were sitting together and Chloe would sneak past Demie's bucket of berries and take one while she thought no one else was looking. Great I already have a little food thief on my hands. She was covered in red juice, but surprisingly it all came out. So. . . we might have a ton of blackberry inspired desserts around our house!

Parker's Party

Our friend Parker had his 1st Birthday party last Saturday. Kara did such a great job with the cake. The picture of Chloe is not great, but is the only one I had.

Play Dough

Chloe got this new play dough set and she loves it! It is so great b/c it can keep her occupied for soooo long! It is so fun to watch her be so creative while she plays. She is also very good at her scissor skills.

VBS

Last week was our VBS. This is Chloe's third time and Coleman's first. They did pretty good, it was a really long week. They both had wonderful teachers! I was in charge of the snacks. The blue snack that Chloe is eating was supposed to be an ocean bagle to go with the Outrigger Island theme. It had goldfish on it before she ate them all off. The bagels were not a huge hit. The last snack we served were seaturtles. They were made out of oatmeal cream pies. These were a huge hit. Chloe said her verse everyday to the people in charge. One day our verse was Jesus heals the sick. Chloe and I were practicing it on the way to church and were talking about how our offering was for God. When we got to the parking lot she told me she wanted Jesus to get her out of the car. I told her that I was not ready for Jesus to come get her, but He could live in her heart! I thought that was pretty funny.

Perfect Daddy

Happy Father's day Cole! What a great day I had! I got to take a nap while Cole held Coleman. I think Father's day should be spent with the kids right? Just Kidding. Cole is an awesome father. Just ask his number one fan, Chloe. If I tell her I love her, she tells me no that daddy loves her. She loves him so much!!!! He is so good to put her to bed, read her stories and play with her. He is numero uno!

LynnAnn's Wedding Weekend

We are in TX this weekend for my dear friend LynnAnn's wedding! I love her so much! She has been the greatest friend to me. There in the hard times and good times. I can call her up and talk about something silly or serious! She has been loyal and trustworthy. And most importantly she has been fun!!!!!!!!!! We used to go to Arlington/Dallas during College just to go to the mall or rollerblade at River Legacy. We would go to Chilis at least once a week! We would watch a lot of tv:). She is one of the biggest reasons I miss living in TX so much! I love you and wish you and Paul the best life together forever!!!!!

Bubba's Birthday

For Bubba's birthday we went to Brios. They brought Chloe some pizza dough to play with. They have the best gelato! Of course we had to document what Coleman did!

Toenails

Well I joined all of the other mommies in painting my little girls toes. She still looks young right? I hate making her too grown up too fast! But I needed a special reward for something and this was it! The next day she was afraid to take a bath in fear of her toenail polish being gone! We probably won't be doing this for awhile b/c she does not quite understand the drying concept!

2 months

Sharing

I'm too shy

We went to the firestation on Friday with our playgroup from church. We were having a great time until we went to the garage area. A little boy was crying and so Chloe decided to cry and say, "I am too shy". Since then she has used that phrase quite a bit. She is something else. Needless to say she did not love the firestation. Make sure you notice how Coleman enjoyed the firestation.
