Ballet

Chloe took her first ballet class this past week. I thought it would be great fun for her and also help her to listen. Never in my dreams did I realize it would warm my heart so much. It was the best thing to watch her dance! She was so great! She was the star student of her class. The other 2 girls pretty much did nothing, they were a little timid. I was so proud at how well Chloe listened and shared! This was such a great day!

Riverwalk

We stayed here 13 months ago

We went to the Alamo and Riverwalk on Monday morning. I think Josh was the only kid that enjoyed the Alamo. We also went on a boat ride and had mexican food at the oldest restaurant on the River. Chloe enjoyed her some chips.

Our Resort

My parents were so gracious in letting us go to San Antonio with them. We stayed at the La Cantera Resort
It was very beautiful, but we did have some problems with check-in. We had to wait over five hours for our rooms. It wouldn't have been so bad except they kept telling us it would be ready in five minutes. So 6 adults and 5 kids were crammed in a room. We went to the pool which was really nice to try and wait it out. Here Chloe is loving the baby pool. It really was a beautiful hotel and besides the check-n part we had a great time!

Future Baylor Bears

This was Chloe's first time to Baylor. Actually it was my kids first time anywhere south of Ft. Worth. Chloe kept saying I like Mommy's Baylor!

Rice Cereal

Here is Coleman eating his first rice cereal. I think he likes it! He has since then been downing it and not spitting too much out. The first few pics of him up close aren't great b/c I was taking them while feeding him. He is getting his first two teeth.

Six random things about me. Mine are pretty lame!

1. I can stick my whole fist in my mouth. I don't do it often b/c it hurts my jaw sometimes.

2. Sorda like Jill I love roller coasters. I am reminded of this b/c yesterday I was at 6 Flags in San Antonio. I got to see Chloe ride some rides and that brought me even more pleasure than riding them myself.

3. I have lived in three foreign countries. Cole likes to say I am German b/c I lived there for 3 1/2 years. He just likes to annoy me:)

4. I like things done my way. Please don't come to my house and be helpful and try to fold my towels they have to be done a certain way!

5. This might be TMI, but I love nursing at night. I don't love the nursing aspect, but I love the time I get to spend with Coleman. It does not bother me to wake up in the middle of the night b/c I am the only one in the world who gets to experience him late at night with the sweet sounds and faces he makes. He makes it so worth not sleeping through the entire night. Crazy huh!

6. This is another weird one that most people don't love: I love the whole labor and delivery part! It is the most amazing thing in the world! I even love being preggo! Maybe I will just have a dozen or so kids just to experience it-j.k.

Movies

Chloe and Avery had two firsts this week. They went to their first movie and had their first popcorn experience. We went to see Veggies Tales the Pirates who don't do anything. It was fun and free! Chloe didn't want to sit still the whole time, but she did pretty great for such a long time. I could not get her to really look at me for the camera, so these are the best pics I have. Luckily I still have my camera b/c it fell out at the movies and someone turned it in-thank you very much! I do not have a great track record with cameras!

Rain Forest Cafe

I met Cole's family to eat at the Rain Forest Cafe. I thought Chloe would love it, but she was very scared the whole time. I forgot about the thunder storms they have in there. I guess we will not be booking any amazon trips anytime soon.

My Favorite Meal

Here is my all time favorite meal: fried chicken (Britton style), black eye peas, mashed potatoes and cream gravy. The meal also included fried okra which is not my favorite, but it is good. This meal was supposed to be followed up by homemade banana pudding (not the type Cole likes but the real deal), but the pudding broke so oh well! Here is Chloe's plate
