A real hair cut

So Coleman got a real hair cut this weekend, not just a trim.

My little guy got so much hair cut off. Cole played the role of the barber.

I am not sure which hairdo I like best, b/c I love them both.

Valentine Bags

So I decided this year I wanted to make these Valentine bags for my kids.

My mom helped with the first one and then I attempted the second.

Don't look too closely!!!!

I didn't get these finished until the day after Valentines, but I did get my stuff for next year already and have my bags ready to go!

Snow

I guess Coleman needs a boy mug!

We have had our fair share of snow!!!

We bundled the kids up and decided to go play.

Coleman is not a fan of the snow!!!!!

Chloe and I had a great time making snow angels, throwing snow, and sliding in the snow.

After our cold fun outside we decided it was time for some hot cocoa.

Chloeisms

Chloe says something everyday that just puts a smile on my face.

Today it was a question:

"Mommy, how did you become such a great chef?"

The other day it was, "Coleman you remind me of you!".

She also has loved playing like she is Christy and Coleman is Cole.

Ma and Laura

So this picture is a reason why I don't usually put pictures of myself on my blog, but I wanted to document the memory. A while back I got Little House from our church library and decided to start reading it to Chloe. We have about one chapter left.

I can't really tell what all she has understood, but from time to time she asks a question that makes me think she does understand. We have skipped some parts of the book that I thought might be a bit much for her at this age. She loves to have me read from the book.

Party

I made a collage of some of the pictures from the party. You can click on the collage to make the pictures bigger. Don't judge the cake, it looks awful!!!! Each princess took a princess portrait. They made princess puppets, danced, laughed, and had a great time!

Each princess got to take home a purse, crown and some other little goodies. As you can see a special appearance was made by Snow White and our own little Prince Charming attended!

More Family Gifts

Every time Chloe opened a card she would read it. Of course she was making up the words, but she made all the cards sound so sweet!

Just in case you were wondering, Chloe dressed herself!

We decided to have Chloe open her family gifts before the party. She got some great gifts: a bean bag, a princess Bible, a new charm for her charm bracelet, pjs, books, clothes and some other things. BUT the hit was a life size doll. Coleman thinks he gets first dibs on her. Some tears have been shed when I have had to take the doll from him. The doll was also a big hit at the party!

Wiid Bowling

Chloe calls the Wii "Wiid". When our families were here we decided to bowl. Even Cole's grandparents got in on the action. Last night Cole, the kids and I played again and let me just brag on myself, I got 6 strikes in a row!

Since Chloe's party had to be rescheduled due to the snow we had it this past weekend. On Friday night we got together with our families and had dinner. We let Chloe open a gift that night. It was a baby bed my dad had made for her. It is really cute! She loves it a lot and it will be something she can pass down to her kids. Sorry these pics are in reverse order.
