Bug habitat

The kids watched Franklin today and decided they needed to make a bug habitat. Chloe decided she needed to write about it in a notebook-such the budding scientists!

Hockey

Coleman and I love to play hockey together. Fun fact: I played field hockey in high school!

Soccer Star

Coleman started playing soccer this spring.

He had his first practice a couple of weeks ago, and boy was he excited.

The hardest part for the boys was running to get to the end of the line to have another turn.

Honestly, I have no idea when these pictures were taken???

Let's just pretend they were around his 14 month birthday-I am not sure I am going to win mother of the year for documenting this sweet boy!

After bath time he likes to sit in his football chair for a few minutes.

I honestly really never just let him walk around in his diaper.

I have nothing against the diaper look, I just always put clothes on him.

But, after bath time he has about 1 minute of diaper time.

I will go run and get something and he will be standing in it,

and then leans over to play with the tools.

Every single time he gets in that chair he grins from ear to ear.

One day the chair was next to the crib and I found him hanging on to the top of the crib.

I LOVE this boy!

I love his smile, his spirit, his kisses!

He is my baby!!!!

Frozen Yogurt

We went for a little froyo tonight. I kept calling it ice cream, and of course was corrected!

Another loss

Chloe lost her top tooth today. That little booger has been so loose forever! Last night, I was so ready to get that tooth out I convinced her to let me tie a piece of dental floss around it, and then she could pull it out herself. She agreed, and then freaked out. Cole told me that is an old wives tale. I remember doing that as a kid.

Back to the story, I had to get the dental floss off and finally did. A couple of times I just tried to yank it and I even tried to twist it out. That tooth would not come out. I could see the root and it was barely hanging on. I was afraid she was going to swallow it in her sleep. Well, this morning she woke up and it was still in there! When I picked her up from school it was gone! I asked her about it, and she told me she went to the nurse and got a Kleenex and she just yanked it out herself.

Ummmmmm, okay. Tried to get her to do that last night, but oh we'll. It seems the tooth fairy needs to make a visit tonight.

Cousin fun
