Sweet Sounds

Today while we were in the car we put on one of our Praise Baby Cds to try to stop Coleman from crying (they worked wonders for Chloe). Chloe was singing the praise songs and it was so sweet for me to hear her sweet little voice singing. I hope that all of her days will be filled with praise! On a side note Coleman slept six hours last night, that was great!!!!!!! Then Chloe woke up at 5:30 a.m. so you win some you lose some!

Stings and Cords

Well, today was the first day without my mom. Which wasn't too bad b/c Cole took the day off. We are truly going to miss her, she was the best!!!! She cooked, cleaned, enertained, did everything!! I really appreciate her so much, she is the world's greatest mom!!!! This morning started off with high drama. Chloe, Coleman and I were in the living room. Chloe was sitting on the fireplace ledge/hearth. She picked something up, and I realized it was a yellow jacket. I assumed it was dead until she started screaming. I yelled, "put it down". I gathered the kids and ran to the back room to get Cole. Chloe had gotten stung and I was afraid Coleman would be next. Cole went to go look for the mean guy and couldn't find him. I went back out and saw him on the blinds. Cole went back to kill him. So, poor Chloe had a sting on her thumb, poor baby. Later on that day Coleman's cord fell off. This is my least favorite thing. I hate touching the cord, afraid I am going to hurt my kids. Well, I love it when it falls off, and I make Cole take care of it, b/c I don't want to touch it!!!! So, two big things happened today!!!

Baseball

Chloe was loving her new baseball set from MawMaw and Bubba. When it was time to run the bases she ran to pick them up and ran to the ball stand.

First Bath at Home

Coleman received his first bath at home! He loved it!!! J.K. Chloe gave her baby a bath while were giving him a bath. She is so funny!

Growth Progress

Here is Coleman in a 12 month onesie. I thought it would swallow him up, but it really didn't. He really is pretty small.

Every month I am going to take a picture of him in this onesie so that I can see how much he grows!

Chloe's playhouse

I found this playhouse for Chloe at a garage sale. While Cole was putting it together, Chloe was saying "thank you daddy". She must have said it 100 times!

Coleman's first time in his bed! We make our kids go straight to their cribs, it makes it a lot easier for them to sleep later.

Traumatic Experience

When we actually got into the house Chloe had a little meltdown. She loved seeing Coleman at the hospital, but was not so excited for him to come into her home. She cried and cried until we told her baby Coleman had a present for her. She had to go next to him to open it. After that I think she was just fine with letting him stay. Have I ever mentioned how much she loves presents!

Coming Home

Coleman's first car trip! When we got home Chloe and Maw Maw were waiting for us! It was such a windy day!

Grammie had come down with some health issues on Monday, but after being cleared by the doctor Tuesday morning, they drove down to meet baby Coleman. Then poor Grammie had to go back to schedule surgery.
