Why do my kids refuse to look at the camera?

Yesterday morning before church we had a little photo shoot to show off our new shirts. The kids wore their new shirts to church to share our good news. Chloe says we are either going to have a boy or a girl, but she really wants a sister or twins. Our little bundle of joy is going to be here around January 6th.

Awana Celebration

This past Wednesday night we had our end of the year Awana celebration. Chloe completed her first year Cubbie's book! She did a great job learning all of her verses. After the awards we had some fun games which Cole partook in. He had to get the m&m's out of the whip cream and spit them in a cup. Chloe wasn't a big fan of the games, she thought they were too noisy.

Chloe's Dance Recital

Chloe had her first big dance recital a couple of weeks ago. At the dress rehearsal I was a little worried, since she decided she didn't want to be in the recital. Luckily, after some bribing I was able to talk her into getting up there. She did enjoy getting on stage and dancing. Sometimes she got a little distracted, but for the most part she did awesome!!!! Her favorite part was the end when they got to parade back on stage and get their trophies. Thanks to Allyson and the Grandparents for coming to support our little dancer.

A few Colemanisms

I need to put these on my blog before I forget:

-Coleman calls his blankets his Mimis (not sure where that came from)

-Since his birthday he can't get the fact that other people have birthdays too. He will say, "no, mine" if anyone wishes someone else happy birthday. He thought my birthday gifts really should belong to him.

-Whenever you ask Coleman his name his reply is "boy"

-Coleman's favorite color is blue and he thinks everything should be blue

-He thinks all of his Britton boy cousins are named Drew or boys
