The Cake

I was very pleased with Coleman's cake. I have had this idea in my head for about 12 months for this cake. I just wasn't sure if it would come to fruition. I wanted to have a green with a removeable cake for his own cake. I had to dig a hole out of the cake and then place his cake inside. This was my first time to use fondant (thanks to Cheyenne for helping me make it). I made a little flag in fondant that is sorda hard to see in the picture. I also made chocolate cakeballs to go around the cake to look like golfballs. I don't know how Bakerella gets hers so perfectly round? This was a lot of fun to make!

2nd Easter Egg Hunt

We went to another Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. It is more like an Easter Egg grab. They put a bunch of eggs on the football field and then kids just go grab them. Chloe was lucky enough this year to get a ticket in hers so she one a prize! Coleman loved the eggs!

Resurrection Rolls

After the egg hunt we made Resurrection Rolls (thanks Jess for the idea). Cheyenne did a great job of explaining it to the kids. Chloe kept askingnme later that day, "Can I have more of Jesus' body?".

Coleman would rather play baseball!

We had a little Easter egg hunt with some of the SAHM from our Bible Fellowship class. This was Coleman's first Easter Egg Hunt. We had several meltdowns this day (from my kiddos), but overall it was fun. For some reason whenever I have something planned my kids like to wake up super early that morning and then they tend to get a little tired when the actual activity starts! Oh well!

Birthday Breakfast

Coleman's actual birthday was on a Wednesday, so we had to give him a little gift to open since his party wasn't until Saturday. He loves cars and knows exactly what to do with them. He and sister both love the new cars! Then it was time for some birthday pancakes! This is his favorite breakfast food!
