Swim Lessons

Could this picture be any scarier? Sorry about the hairdo, but this is my only picture to document Coleman's lessons.

We just finished our two week stint on swim lessons, hallelujah! They were good, but so glad not to have to be somewhere everyday! Chloe did okay. I am not sure she and her teacher were the perfect fit. There was quite a bit of crying involved! Coleman and I decided to do the mommy and me class. As usual, he was did his flirty shy guy routine. At the end he was loving his teacher. I am glad we did it. I feel like if Chloe had two more weeks of classes she would be swimming on her own! She is such a little fish!

Tough Guy

I know the above picture is blurry, but he reminds me so much of Linus here. He loves to sit and play at the piano and usually has his blanket with him. How safe are we that we keep his piano on the fireplace???

Coleman has been sick the past few days, ear infection and virus. He has been wearing some of his new pjs, so I thought I would take a picture of my little sick man.

Cookies

Chloe and I decided to make Cole some chocolate chip/oatmeal cookies the other day. He really has been so sweet during his recovery time, so I thought that would be a nice thing for him. These are one of his favorite types of cookies. I think this was one of Coleman's first times to have a warm cookie out of the oven. He kept himself very neat during the whole process!

Coleman loves his utensils. He actually does pretty good with him, when he uses the right end. He usually has one in each hand.

I wish I would have taken a picture of Chloe when she was all finished. She thoroughly enjoyed her cookie, which was all over her face!

Coleman has found his favorite toy, a bat. We really need to get him a boy bat!

Bandaid, take two

Just in case you didn't know how serious I was about the bandaids we use. One a day keeps the doctor away. She had a little nosebleed and felt she needed a bandaid. After taking the picture I made her take it off, b/c it scared me! She also feels the need to have an ice pack on all of her boo boos!

I know this is a funny picture, but I just had to share it b/c it made me laugh so hard. Chloe gets a bandaid a day. She loves them!!!!! This day I guess she bit her lip and needed one on her lip. When I turned around this is what I saw, cracked me up!!!! This girl is too cute and funny!

Here are some more pics from our weekend at Great Wolf Lodge. I loved the swim part. Chloe loved just swimming around. She wanted to be in deeper water to practice her swimming. This is funny b/c today at swimming she was not so into it. Coleman loved going down the little water slide. He kept wanting to do it over and over again. I thought that it was very little kid friendly. Sometimes places like this are hard to enertain the babies, but this was great. We also enjoyed the Lazy River a lot! Chloe loved swimming in it with her boys!

Bluebell

A while back our MOPS group took the kiddos to the Blue Bell Factory. I really believe with all my heart that Bluebell makes the BEST ice cream! No other brand really comes close! Chloe would not give me a good shot while eating the ice cream so this is the best I could get.

Chloe and her boys with Wylie. Chloe was so cute during story time. She kept waving to Wylie the whole time wanting him to see her so badly. Thank goodness she was not scared of him!

This year for two of my newphews' birthdays we went to Great Wolf Lodge. It was so much fun! It is a little pricey, but when you add in hotel plus what you would pay for admission to a waterpark it all seems reasonable. It was a ton of fun. There was even fun things for Coleman to do. Thanks Maw Maw and Bubba for letting us share your cabin with you. Happy Birthday Josh and Drew!

The pictures of the kids looking outside were in the morning before we took Chloe to school. It is so dark outside b/c of the rain. It has rained here sooooo much. Today, luckily is beautiful.

Cole's parents came a couple of days after his surgery to help! They were a big help. Chloe loves playing with her grandparents!

Haman's Ears

This year our ladies Bible study did Esther, by Beth Moore. It was great! At the end they give you a recipe for Haman's Ears (cookie). I thought what a great little lesson for Chloe to hear while helping me cook. These cookies were not my favorite. If you do the study and want to make the cookies, I w0uld just use already prepared sugar cookie dough and add your fillings, like chocolate chips.

The girls did great at the recital. I had a fear that Chloe would get silly and not dance, but she did wonderful!!!!
